CBP Webinar on Tucson Border Barrier Remediation Feedback

The message below was sent out with regard to the CBP’s border remediation plan. We will attend and will report back on what we learn.

Please join the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for an informative webinar on how public feedback will be incorporated into the first border barrier remediation contracts for U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) Tucson Sector. The webinar will take place on Monday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. MST.

In early January, CBP released a plan of proposed remediation actions associated with the construction of border barrier in Cochise, Pima, and Santa Cruz counties, Arizona, within Tucson Sector. From January to February, CBP sought public input on priorities and additional considerations for the Tucson Sector Barrier Remediation Plan. The comment period closed February 3, 2022. This 30-minute webinar will provide an overview of the border barrier projects, what information was received from the public, and how that information is being used to inform the contracts for remediation.

RSVP by emailing TucsonComments@cbp.dhs.gov.

While an RSVP is not required to attend, it will allow us to ensure that we have adequate capacity for everyone who would like to participate.

Real-time closed captioning will be available for webinar participants. To request additional accommodations, please send an email with details of your request to TucsonComments@cbp.dhs.gov by March 30, 2022.

We encourage you to distribute this invitation broadly.

We appreciate your feedback and hope you will join us for this informative webinar.
